Steep Skiing Camps Worldwide offers steep skiing camps in La Grave, France. La Grave is one of the rare ski areas that offer uncrowded, adventurous off-piste skiing. It's as close to true wilderness skiing as a ski lift serviced mountain can be, governed only by nature's laws, which must be learned and respected. La Grave's lifts access 7,200 vertical feet of off-piste skiing. Long couloirs, glaciers, big steep faces, tree skiing! There isn't any trail grooming, avalanche control, ski school, or ski patrol. Just a lift to access the mountain. Once off the lift, the guides find their own route off the peak for the best experience for your group. |

2009 La Grave Camp Dates:
February 28-March 7
| Am I good enough... or am I too good? Clients range in age from 16 to 75. You should be able to handle expert (black diamond) trails with control and confidence. Otherwise, the camps may be too challenging for you. We do not ski intermediate runs or groomed trails. Our guides can provide plenty of challenges for even the most accomplished skiers. You'll ski with one guide and three other clients whose fitness and ability are similar to yours. No matter how experienced you are, you will enjoy and learn from these camps. The steep camp guides are highly qualified, UIAGM certified guides who will provide you with the experience of a lifetime. The guides will find the best snow available and take you down descents you would never find in an unguided situation. Very few La Grave visitors ever ski these routes without hiring a guide from La Grave. The focus of the camp is to have fun and to ski hard, while learning about the mountains and mountain travel techniques throughout each day. The Steep Camp is not a "course," but more of an adventurous and exciting ski week that wil tire you out and send you home with incredible memories of skiing you only dreamed about before.
